This is a one-on-one session with the Osteopath over 45 minutes, a full case history is taken to understand the context of the complaint and a full examination and treatment provided

Long Osteopathy Consultation

60 minute consultation to allow the time necessary to address chronic, complex or multiple issues in one session. Suitable for new clients with a complicated medical histories, multiple areas of pain and medical issues. Also available for returning patients wanting extended treatment. Long consultations allow times necessary for supervised exercise rehabilitation sessions and craniosacral therapy sessions.

Your Initial Consultation

'Information and Assessment' appointment. Step 1.

In the first consultation with me you can expect a run thorough of your health history, a focus on your presenting concern/s, diagnosed conditions and health goals and a general health status assessment. We will look at what your primary concern is and your current diet and lifestyle. I will ask a lot of questions to assess and determine the appropriate Nutritional treatment for you.

Your Second Consultation

This is your 'Assessment and Findings' appointment. Step 2.

Your second appointment with me is a very important follow up to your initial consultation. I will examine your results from any potential testing, ascertain your diet and lifestyle in a more thorough scope and assess your progress from any advice implemented since your initial appointment. We will build on the information provided and gather any further information about your current health status that you may have. We then discuss treatment options and goals to best suit you and your lifestyle to get started on your health progress.

Treatment Consults

Your third appointment with me is your first Treatment Consult.

We will create a treatment plan tailored specifically to you and your needs, discuss time frames and set goals. We will provide you with individualized personal Nutritional Meal Plans, a Treatment Script, shopping lists, recipes, expert advice and nutritional counselling. We will input strategies, diet and lifestyle changes and focus on your primary concern by developing a plan that you can stick to, that adapts to your lifestyle and will produce results. Depending on your health status and your individual needs we can determine what time-frame/ frequency of appointments.

Health Insurance

Nearly all Health Insurance funds will cover some of the cost of treatments under their ‘Extras’ cover. The amount covered depends on the insurance company. Hicaps available for on-the-spot rebates.


Medicare will cover the cost of treatment if you are referred by your GP under the ‘Chronic Disease Management Plan. In this case your GP can refer for up to 5 treatments per calendar year to help manage a chronic condition.

Work Cover Claims
